The February Hump Day features a selection of beers from Cavalier Brewing Company. Based in Melbourne, Cavalier has kept a relatively low profile for a brewery making beers of exceptional quality. I rate Cavalier Brown Ale as one of the best of its type in Australia, and have never been disappointed with one of the beers I have tried.

At Hump Day we will be trying:

Cavalier Courage: A blonde ale created to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neuron Disease.
Cavalier Pale Ale: A classic American-style pale ale showcasing Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic and Citra hops.
Cavalier Brown: A rich but highly drinkable brown ale…a celebration of malt characters.
Cavalier Imperial Stout: Dessert in a bottle.

The monthly BeerMatt Hump Day beer tasting are a great way to try some of the latest craft beer imports, new local breweries and their beers. They are laid back and social with the emphasis on fun and are definitely not your average staid wine tasting.

We sample four or five new craft beers, learn a little about the breweries and the styles and then have some light nibbles and finger food. he best part is that if you don't want to play up on a school night, the tastings are usually over by 7.30.

The monthly Hump Day beer tasting is a great way to get over the midweek hump and expand your craft beer horizons.
